December 19, 2019, Rockville, MD—Sara Wood, MBA, CAE, of Management Solutions Plus (MSP), is a recipient of this year’s “Forty Under 40” award from the Association Forum and USAE.
The Association Forum and USAE present the “Forty Under 40” to outstanding association and nonprofit professionals under 40 for their accomplishments, commitment to the industry, leadership skills, and continued potential. Sara and the other recipients of the award were honored this week at an awards ceremony held in Chicago.
Sara joined MSP in 2016 as an account executive and serves as the executive director to two association clients—helping to drive each association’s strategic planning and day-to-day operations. Previously, she spent more than 10 years at the National Court Reporters Association, where she most recently served as the director of membership and marketing.
Sara received her Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification in 2012. She is an active member with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and is a past chair of the Education Subcommittee on the Membership Section Council. Additionally, she was selected to be part of ASAE’s NextGen class of 2016.
“We are extremely proud to see Sara recognized for her accomplishments,” stated MSP CEO Shawn P. McLaughlin, AIF. “She and the other recipients of the ‘Forty under 40’ award are helping to elevate our profession and move it forward.”
